What is payroll?
If you are getting started or are working for a company that uses payrolling, it is good to know what exactly payroll is and what it means for you. In payrolling the employer hands over staff administration to a payroll organization In this case, you are employed by Commercie BV.
- Your employer is still your first point of contact about work and work-related matters.
- Your salary, terms and conditions of employment, colleagues, and working environment all remain the same.
- Commercie ensures that you receive your pay every week and that you are insured.
- Commercie will answer all your questions about holiday pay, about what happens if you fall ill, and about your pension.
Payroll in practice
The client and Commercie BV together determine your salary. You will receive your salary every week and taxes and national insurances are deducted accordingly.
You accumulate provisions such as holiday pay, as you are entitled to 8% holiday allowance. If you are over the age of 22 and have worked for Commercie for a minimum of six months (26 weeks) within a year’s time, you are automatically included in the pension scheme. We are a member of Stipp pension fund.
Please note: if you are ill, you notify both the client and Commercie BV.
